Despatch and delivery times

Please note, items on pages headed "publisher's notice" are not held in stock and should be ordered using the links to Amazon UK, which has its own delivery specifications.

All books listed on the Attic and Unused Bargains pages of this web site are in stock, so they will usually be despatched by standard post on the next working day after your payment is received. Large orders may take slightly longer, but will usually be despatched within two to three working days. If circumstances do not permit this for any reason (e.g., holidays, postal strikes, severe weather, etc.), you will be given any available information at the beginning of the ordering process.

After that, delivery should usually be 3 or 4 days to a UK address, within a week for European addresses, and within two weeks for airmail outside Europe.

Surface mail times are much more variable, depending on where you live: anything between 6 weeks to three months for addresses outside Europe.

If you wish to use options other than standard post, please state this when making your reservation. Tracking is not included with standard post, but is available at extra cost: prices start at 0.95p within the UK, or £5.00 for addresses outside the UK.

Please note: delivery may take longer around Christmas and public holidays, or at certain other times such as periods of industrial action or outbreaks of severe weather, but please use either of the contact links at the top of this page to get in touch if your order seems to be taking an unreasonably long time, or if you have any other concerns.
